Happy Easter

Good evening all, Happy Easter!!

I have had such a lovely day. I woke up rather early this morning, I always try to when i come to wales so i can make the most of being here. I looked out the window and it was lovely outside. My aunties dog Tilly slept in the bed with me last night so i went downstairs to let her out. Look at this gorgeous view on this lovely Easter morning.

Then i made myself a cup of tea and sat at the table (which i do every morning when i stay in my aunties), and looked out at the view.

My auntie does a dinner every Sunday, and she is very organised so the vegetables where already being prepared around 8am. The sun outside was shining through the clouds quite early so the awning was put out and i sat there and gazed out at the view across the fields in the distance whilst we listened to some mixed classical music.

A little later on my auntie decided it was time to sort through her video tapes (as nobody uses them anymore), i was looking at hair videos on my phone when she called me downstairs. She had found a video tape of me and two of my sisters when we where very little. I was made up. I have not seen a video of myself or my little sister at all when we where that small and we where soooo cute. All three of us. I loved it. Made me want babies even more now and i really did not think that was even possible ha.
So seeing the video made my Easter Sunday so special and memorable.

Nana and Dad arrived for dinner around 11 ish, and we sat down to eat not too long after. It was delicious. It always is, my family seem to all be really good cooks.

Everyone else had beef and i had fish. I finished my dinner so quickly, it was lovely.

Look at what we had for our pudding.. Homemade Plum Crumble.

Our crumble was out of this world and it was served with a blend of cream, custard and mascarpone cheese. Gosh it tasted so good with the crumble. It was that good that dad and i had seconds haha.

After dinner we retired to the conservatory which was soooo warm and welcoming. Made me sleepy. We where so full after dinner. Bellies all hanging over our trousers. Well mine was anyway :p. My auntie took the dog for a walk in the park and whilst they where gone i rifled through her button box.

I love buttons and i needed some for the slippers i'm making. ( i will upload a photo soon). There are so many crafts to make that involve buttons and i will share some of those with you soon.

An hour later i was still feeling full so i went into the park for a little stroll with the dog.

I cant get over just how lovely and sunny it was here in wales. Not too sure what it was like back in Liverpool but it was lovely and warm here in Dolerw Park.

Just look at this sky.

Soon after i was back in the conservatory where all four of us stayed for the majority of the afternoon. We all sat there with the sun on our faces and we all had a good chat about anything and everything. I really enjoyed it. Eventually Nana wanted to get back home so we said goodbye.

By 6 i was in my pj's and in front of the fire typing this up.

To end the night my auntie and i watched Vera and Poirot, my auntie with a glass of wine and me with a baileys whilst i was doing some research.

I have had an amazing Easter. I really love sharing my memories with you and i hope that you enjoy it also.
I also hope that you have all had a lovely Easter and have received lots of chocolate eggs.

Thank you for visiting me here at My Little Red Door.

Come back soon :) xxxxx
